We're DONE!

The benches have been built, painted and delivered. In total, we had 16 scouts and adults help with the benches. I learned about managing a budget, time and a team of people.

All I have left is to turn in the paperwork and have my board of review.

UPDATE

My sister Grace says she will mail a limited edition prints of a yet-to-be-determined drawing to everyone who donates.

Fundraising

My name is Glen Pool. I am a senior at South Medford High School and I'm working on achieving my Eagle Scout Rank with the Boy Scouts of America.

In order to get my Eagle Scout Rank, I need to complete an Eagle Project. The project I selected is to build benches for Camp Esther Applegate, a campground rented to various church and community programs. The current benches are in poor condition. My plan is to make them shorter and lighter so that they can accommodate people in wheelchairs and be easier to store during times of non-use.

I have been trying to get donations of lumber from various lumber yards, but due to the current economy, all of them have been unable to donate any wood.

I need donations in order to complete my project or I will be unable to complete my project on time. I need to raise a total of $345.15 to cover the cost of lumber, paint and screws.

If you are able to donate, please use the paypal link below. If I collect more money than $345.15, the overages will go to support other Eagle Projects. I will not keep it for myself.
